Honoring Leadership, Partnership, and Community Impact

Each year, the Gulf Coast Partnership, in partnership with the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce and Charlotte County Economic Development, hosts the Community Champions Breakfast & Awards to recognize employers, educators, and community leaders who are strengthening pathways to opportunity across Charlotte County.

The 2026 Community Champions Breakfast will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at The Event Center at Holy Trinity in Port Charlotte. This annual gathering brings together business leaders, educators, nonprofit partners, and public-sector stakeholders to celebrate collaboration, leadership, and shared investment in the county’s workforce and economic future.

This year’s honorees reflect the strength of Charlotte County’s public-private partnerships—employers committed to their workforce, institutions focused on career readiness, and individuals dedicated to preparing the next generation for long-term success.
